We heard this song for the first time one night in a little place you took me.
It is from the movie sound track of Natural Born Killers.
I think many time in my life I have waited on the miracle and missed what God might have had for me.
Thanks for your friendship, listening to me, and your kindness. You are special in my life. We really like the deep voice of the singer to this song. I would love to have the music and midi for this music.

Howard, I will make you another web memorial page in honor of your service to the military.  We talked about you getting a RV and traveling around the USA. We talked about dancing.  Howard you still owe me  a dance. We talked about going to Wisconsin. You knew I always wanted to go there. You said you had family there. I miss your gentle and strong ways. I miss your strength and insight. I treasure the time we spent together.  I miss quiet dinners and old friends. I miss our talks at CAP meetings. I wish I had that picture you had on your dresser of you. I know you would always blush when I told you how much I liked it. I think I met a Howard that you never allowed most people to see or know. I thank you for sharing your life with me. I will visit your grave and honor you still. You will forever remain special to me in my heart. I miss you dearly.

Waiting for a miracle

I didn't see the time,
I waited half my life away.
There were lots of invitations
and I know you sent me some
but I was waiting
for the miracle to come.

I know you really loved me
but, you see, my hands were tied.
I know it must have hurt you,
it must have hurt your pride
to stand beneath my window
with your bugle and your drum
while I was waiting
for the miracle to come.

So, you wouldn't like it, baby.
You wouldn't like it here.
There's not much entertainment
and the judgments are severe.
The maestro says it's Mozart
but it sounds like bubblegum
when you're waiting
for the miracle to come.

Waiting for the miracle
there's nothing left to do.
I haven't been this happy
since the end of World War II.
Nothing left to do
when you know that you've been taken.
Nothing left to do
when you're begging for a crumb.
Nothing left to do
when you've got to go on waiting
waiting for the miracle to come.

I dreamed about you, baby.
It was just the other night.
Most of you was naked
but some of you was light.
The sands of time were falling
from your fingers and your thumb
and you were waiting
for the miracle to come.

Baby, let's get married,
we've been alone too long.
Let's be alone together,
let's see if we're that strong.
Let's do something crazy,
something absolutely wrong
while we're waiting
for the miracle to come.

Nothing left to do
when you know that you've been taken.
Nothing left to do
when you're begging for a crumb.
Nothing left to do
when you've got to go on waiting,
waiting for the miracle to come.

When you've fallen on the highway
and you're lying in the rain,
and they ask you how you're doing,
of course you say you can't complain --
if you're squeezed for information,
that's when you've got to play it dumb:
You just say you're out there waiting
for the miracle to come.

Would like to have the midi for this song.

Always and forever.

Sempre'e per sempre

Dio la benedice, Howard
