Soul Mate of
Mine
I
believe that all relationships in our lives are to teach us and to
help us grow spiritually. I also believe that soul mates (and there may
be more than one) are in our lives to help us to learn our spiritual
lessons. A soul mate may be someone in your life who constantly gets
"under your skin" or may be someone who you have a deep, intimate
relationship. I believe that we are soul mates because there was an
instant feeling of "coming home" when we got together and everyday we
recognize how we help one another in our spiritual growth.
"The search for a soul mate is essentially a
search for balance."
"Soul mates form a process of completion—the yin
and yang balance. We are all moving around in life doing several things
required for living, but fundamentally we are in search for that
balance. Then come the concept of marriage.
There is the eternal search for a soul mate. Someone who is the
perfect match. "The one who will satisfy all my desires, meet all my
expectations and fulfill all my dreams!" Well, if it were only that
simple! If you really care to know the truth, your soul mate is the very
person who will be the most challenging. You soul mate is the one who
has contracted with you - AT THE SOUL LEVEL- to help you to be the best
spiritual person you can be. Relationships as a Spiritual Path dictate
that your soul mate will be the one who will trigger you into all your
relationship issues...past and present! Why? To clear them up! That's
why! Spiritual growth IS the intention to clear up debilitating issues
that are attached to the ego. The ego loves the drama, holds the pain
and hinders spiritual advancement. Your soul mate will come into your life
to specifically show you what needs to be healed and cleared at the ego
level. The soul-level agreement is to help each other to raise the ego's
vibrations to one of Divine Ego.
In Celtic Spiritual tradition, it is
believed that the soul radiates all about the physical body, what some
refer to as an aura. When you connect with another person ( Spiritual
Soul mates) and become completely open and trusting with that individual,
your two souls begin to flow together. Should such a deep bond be
formed, it is said you have found your Anam Cara or soul mate.
Sometimes, if you're lucky...you get close enough
to a person to see beyond the immediate physical features and 'touch'
what may be the soul. Obviously if both experience this at the same time
its effect is greatly magnified. The entry point is the eyes.......and
although I'm trying now to put the feeling into words I know that it's
really beyond description...beyond words...And yet maybe one word comes
a little close........"Love".
