Angel you are my special angel. The doctor didn't know if I would be able to keep you full term. I had placenta previa and I had a lot of trouble while pregnant.   I knew you were going to be my last baby. I really wanted another girl.  I was glad you were born to us. So many times my life has been dreary and blue, and you would brighten my world. The song playing is "My Special Angel." There is another page with the song "Lean on me." I remember a rough time in my life and you  told me you heard a song for me. You said I could lean on you and daddy. That made my life so much brighter. At a time that I was wondering if life was worth the fight, you told me about the song .

This book was wonderful. I feel like Ihave really meet and angel in Ms Marshall. I have a child with very special needs and I can really appreciate where she is coming from everyday you are at the doctor or in the hospital. I really enjoyed this book I wish them both the best of luck.
 

 This is a fabulous account of one family's life and how it was changed by having a disabled child. It talks about a number of issues including struggling with getting the right education, medical problems, facing up to public ridicule, family relations, and ultimately dealing with untimely death and it repercussions. I would recommend this to any family with a disabled child, or anyone looking for a pick me up.
 		 D. Florine Baker has been called an antique. But she knows how valuable antiques can be.
